Players are dropped into a map and begin unarmed. The map is filled with a plethora of weapons and equipment. Players must constantly explore and collect these resources to increase their survivability and combat effectiveness. The main objective of the game is to be the last person standing. Typically, there are several players in each match, randomly distributed across the map. As the match progresses, the safe zone will gradually shrink, forcing players to concentrate in the central area, increasing the likelihood of encounters. Players must search for weapons and other items that can improve their survivability.
